ICYMI: November Edition
Exciting things happened at ONE Campus this November! Stay plugged in with the latest ICYMI.
Phoebe Robinson book tour
Starting in October and into November, Phoebe Robinson toured across the country to present her new book Everything is Trash, But It’s Okay. Campus members volunteered at several of her tour dates to generate actions for the Global Fund campaign, reminding attendees that AIDS is still a crisis. Phoebe even tweeted to Secretary Pompeo herself!

Thanks @dopequeenpheebs and @one and I guess #bono for a great night fighting for the Global Fund #endaids and laughing about how #everythingistrash and feeling slightly shamed for our open door bathroom policies with our significant others 🤷🏻♀️ super thanks to @liz_casss for being v good at tabling and helping me make lists
ONE Campus at Ignatian Family Teach-In For Justice
ONE Campus exhibited at the 2018 Ignatian Family Teach-In For Justice, an annual gathering for students at Jesuit and Catholic high schools and universities to come together in the context of social justice and solidarity to learn, reflect, pray, network and advocate together. Staffers Gordon and Lona had the opportunity to share ONE’s mission with Teach-in attendees while generating actions for the current Global Fund Campaign.

Campaign #2: The Global Fund to fight AIDS
Campus members everywhere advocated for the Global Fund by sending postcards to the State Department asking Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to ensure the fiscal year 2020 budget stays consistent with President Trump’s commitment to the AIDS fight. It has been a treat to see how every chapter approaches generating catalytic actions, from tabling to hosting movie screenings to collaborating with other advocacy groups on campus.
