Campaign #1: Poverty is Sexist

January 23rd - March 11th

Education is vital for moving out of poverty. But because poverty is sexist, 130 million girls across the world are denied that basic right. All children deserve a good education, but in the poorest countries girls are denied it more often than boys. International Women’s Day is March 8, and this year ONE is going BIG. That means ONE members around the world—from the U.S., to Canada, to Germany, to Nigeria—will be campaigning to ensure that girls around the world have access to an education.
